How are divisions decided for the tournament?

Divisions are decided by the competition committee which is composed of local softball organizers and umpires.

Can I sign up as a “free agent” for a potential pickup on a team?

Yes, there is a form to be filled out on the website if teams are looking to add a player. Although, filling out this form does not guarantee you a spot to play.

Fundraising

How long will you be accepting item donations for this year's raffle and/or auction?
-
We will be accepting items to be raffled or auctioned off until Friday, September 20th, 2024. Please note that some auction items, if we receive an overwhelming amount, may be held for future auctions/raffles.

When will the raffle and auction go live online?
-
Our tentative raffle open date is Friday, September 27th at 5 pm. This date and time are subject to change if necessary. All updates will be provided on our website and social media channels.

Who can participate in the online raffle and auction?
-
Raffles: Anyone in the State of Maine can participate in the online raffle. You must be located in Maine at the time of purchase or our system will not allow it to go through. This is in accordance with Maine state law.

Auctions: Anyone in the contiguous United States can participate in the online raffle. Out-of-state winners will be responsible for any shipping costs incurred.

Will there be food trucks?
-
We will have multiple food trucks at each location on both days. The food trucks that will be onsite are Cruzin Slice, Benchwarmers, Sum'Battus BBQ, The Pit, and Pinky D’s.

Other than the softball tournament, will there be other attractions?
-
Planning is currently underway so specifics are still being confirmed, however, we are planning to have fun photo opportunities, a kid's area with games and activities, and visits from team mascots!

Will there be onsite parking available?

Onsite parking will be available; however, parking will be limited.

Will there be offsite parking available?

Off-site parking will be available; more information to come.

Will transportation be available to and from the field?

Yes, more information will be available closer to the event.

Will there be handicap accessible parking?

There will be designated handicap spots available. We will also have golf carts available to help with transportation around the field.

Will there be restrooms onsite?

Porta-potties will be onsite at each location

Will there be First Responders on site?

Each location will have a medical tent, as well as first responders onsite.

Will there be law enforcement?

There will be multiple law enforcement officers, as well as security both days of the event.

Will there be help onsite for questions?

Each site will have an info tent, however, please make sure to subscribe to our website for live updates.

Will there be a location at the event to make an on-site donation?

Yes, locations to be determined.

Will I receive a letter stating that I donated to a tax deductible 501(c)(3) organization?

We are now an official 501(c)(3) organization, so donations are tax-deductible. A letter will be sent to all those that donate.

Can I make purchases for food, apparel, raffles, donations by credit card?

Yes, however food truck vendors are operating as third paries and will have their own payment methods.
